They received payments both from the cruiseline company and the candidate who applied works or jobs on cruises through their agencies. What actually happened, the cruiseline company had decided certain amount for each job position it offered to each candidate accepted to work for the cruiseline company. It was good money for each position offered, but that was not the amount would be received monthly by the candidate accepted, could be only half of it. The agencies kept for themselves as well the half of it. And on the other hand, from candidates who applied from the agencies would be charged big money either on the process of recruitments. Because, they offered works on cruises that would pay much money. So, the candidates paid for the agencies to get the works or the jobs. Sometimes, the reason used was to do training to make the candidates could pass the tests done by the cruiseline.

  So, the woman went to an agency to apply for a work in a cruise of a cruiseline company. The result was she lossed money and did not get the job she wanted. She tried again from other agency, she lossed again big money without being accepted. She was in her thirties near to forties which nearly would not be eligible anymore to jobsoffers presented by the agencies that needed young men or women for the works. Actually, the jobsoffers were the lowest jobs' positions such as waiters, cleaners, dishwashers, clothes washers, kitchen assistants, room keepers, etc. Of course, such workers could reach higher positions on the cruise they worked as good carrier for them while working for the cruise and wanted to continue their contracts.   That woman did not give up. But, she did not try anymore to apply for a work in a cruise through agencies that cost her so much money without being accepted. She studied by herself about cruises and worked on cruises including a specific cruise and cruiseline that she wanted to work with. She searched on the  internetwebs, she collected information from agencies everywhere around the world, she found out what men or women on the cruiseline or the cruise directly who she could talk to, she found out workers or formers who had worked on cruises that could share their information and experiences about working on cruises with her. She found two facts useful for her. First, there were so many works on cruises. But, the lower level works were given to agencies as separate other companies to hire workers for the cruiselines. And then, when the cruise needed higher level workers for higher positions or works on the cruise, the cruise through its worker in charge of recruitment did by itself. If that man or woman in charge of doing the recruitment was busy and could not do it by himself or herself, he or she would work with agencies but she or he would attend the process of recruitment and would choose by himself or herself the candidates who she or he wanted to work in higher level positions or works in his or her cruise.

 After knowing that, that woman again checked when the cruiseline really needed workers, not just agencies opened recruitments, she found that the next recruitment inwhich the cruiseline would attend was in Miami Florida, a usa state. She prepared everythings and checked on internetwebs about it and every recent news about the cruiseline company and the cruise itself. She prepared some possible works or jobs she possibly could work and apply. She decided one. Then she collected money and had a flight to Florida. She attended the interview directly, the cruiseline accepted, it did not want long process. Though that woman did not take course or training done by the agency which cost a lot of money, the agency where the recruitment directly by the cruiseline's men or women attended at that time. Of course, she needed to bring any requirements needed, but they were basic simple things such as passport and visa, etc. On the interview, though she told what she knew and wanted to do, that impressed the cruiseline's men or women. She was accepted in the works or position or job beyond what she wanted, higher level. She became the clerk of the cruise with high paying money to her, that certainly gained back what amount she had spent for nothing while pursuing the works on cruises, big amount for agencies. Later on, when she shared with public her experience of getting the works or the job, she was satisfied with it and she could do it beyond what the works or the job demanded her to do. Though she did not have any background study for that. She learnt her potency and resources, what she had and wanted to do and could offer, she learnt the works, and did the job well.

Fifth, showing less enthusiasm

The companies do not want to be complicated, if that is not possible to provide such requirements from the company and not possible either with the candidates, they prefer to hire nearby candidates. So, be aware on such things.

  You need also to anticipate if failure happens. Asking the company why you fail or at least finding out why you fail. And if it is not possible you can study by your ownself. You know exactly what the company wants. And you know exactly your capabity. You can measure by yourself how well you can satisfy the company's needs on the new workers, about their capacities. If from some of these ways, you know your mistake, then you can fix and improve your capacity and try to apply again if it is still possible or if not asking the company when it will have the next recruitment time/schedule. Any company has that. Then prepare yourself and apply again.

   Jobhunting is also about anticipation. Anticipating for success by readiness for further process, and anticipating failure by finding out mistakes and improving capacities. Though companys and jobs can be different from one to another, including expertise and capabilities, but basic capabilities as humans as workers are similar. If you are not accepted in a company, it is a possibility you will not be accepted by other companies, of if yess, there is still something you need to improve about yourself. Because every company, beside specific job that needs specific skills, apply basic requirements for workers. Anyway, nearly every job or skills can be learnt further or getting training. But, not successful on basic requirement, seems serious thing, it could be about attitudes: discipline, performance, communication, etc. Failure because of not able working in details is serious thing. If you do not improve that, wherever you work you will face the similar horror. Performance, can not manage problems with good approach for example, if you do not learn the mistake, wherever you apply or work, you will fail again. So, it is important to learn the mistakes. Not company puts high standard beyond basic requirement of humans such as must have 200 IQ or must strong to be able to carry airplane etc. But, if you do not have capacity to like to learn or practice, wherever you go or work, you will fail. Such basic requirements any company apply. If you fail because of that and not aware of it, it is not good because wherever you apply or work, you will fail. So, failure on jobseeking is a sign there is capacity needed to improve. Do not umderestimate any company that fails someone and that the one can be successful in another company. Probably, it happens. But, not any company fails someone without any reason, and without serious thing on basic requirement. Failure have to be considered as time to improve capacity.

Eleventh, speak bad about the company


There is a tendency to speak badly about the company after going through "terrible experiences of application process". For examples: the recruiters are bad why the company accepted such workers, they treated me like garbage, they made me like stupid, i could not answer them, they were discriminative, they discriminated me because of my skin or my ugly face by giving me difficult questions, etc. Or: huh, the interviews were tough, the guys who interviwed me were damned, etc.

  There is no need to say bad things about the company after going through application process and waiting for the results. It will possibly make feel bad about the company. It is better not to do that. Saying to express your experiences in good manners.

  The reasons are: firstly, no need to say bad things about the company where you are going to work. Suppossed if you are accepted, you already build bad opinion and feeling about the company, and aware or not, such things will affect your works. Second, what you say publicly or to others possibly can be heard by the company that will affect your evalution process about your attitude and keep the good reputation of the company. Third, no company or system perfect enough when you enter it. If yess, why the company still needs you. Yes, possibly happens, you are treated unjustly, there were briberies or discriminations in the application process etc. But, in spite of speaking badly that can result the company sue you, it is better to keep these experiences as motivation for you to fix the system in the future when you already work in the company. It is also not good to talk badly about ones that you will work together with them. Keep positive feeling and thinking will make able later to give inspiration to them who you have ever thought doing unjust things to you or others, or being naughty.

Twelfth, comparing companies 

  You probably go jobshunting not only for one company but two or more similar companies. So you need to be aware on the tendency of comparing the companies. To compare to choose is ok, but to speak them to others, no. It is similar reasons, you can put bad opinion on you about the companies. You will work with the company, so it is better to stay wonderful about the company.

Thirteenth, rejecting the company 

  If you apply more than one, and you are accepted by every company you apply, of course you need to decide if you can not do the work at the same time, if you can do it is ok, no problem.

  The problem is if you can not work at the same time, reject a work is not good for it is a gift and responsibility to do, that later will improve your capacity. If you want to reject because of choosing job among jobs, do that before the companies you will reject process further your welcoming steps to be the company's worker. It takes actions of expenssive things for the company to welcome you. So, reject before such further things provided by the company. If not, you do that, that will lose the company benefits from you. It will also list you as bad thing for the company. You will not be able to ask recommendation when you need it from the company. If you do in good manners, that will make you have good impression for the company, next time you need a job, the company can provide for you or at least it can recommend you to other good companies.
